By January 24, 2020 No Comments

Sheridan has skilled students in the area from our  Honours Bachelor of Interaction Design degree program seeking 4-month paid co-op opportunities.

Students have knowledge in areas such as designing user experiences through a collaborative process that focus on the end-user’s interaction with a company, its services and/or products as well as focusing on the user interface and interactivity of the product or service.  Our students have a unique multidisciplinary range of skills that cover areas such as Design Theory and Process, Visual Communication, 2D and 3D Design, Physical Computing, Programming and Business Practices.  Adobe Suite, HTML, CSS, P5js, Javascript and usability testing and research are also areas of expertise students can bring to your work place. Students gain on-the-job experience and bring their academic knowledge and innovative ideas to the workplace.

Wage Subsidy Funding Sources:

By hiring co-op students, employers can take advantage of cost-effective short-term hiring processes and could qualify for the ICTC WIL Digital Funding wage subsidy.

Sheridan has partnered with The Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC).  ICTC is reserving wage subsidy funding ($5000 per eligible student) for employers who hire Sheridan Honours Bachelor of Interaction Design students.  Employers can find out more about the funding here.
