Haltech announced today the four winners of the 1st Halton Innovation Awards, which was a feature presentation at the inaugural Halton FUTURES Innovation Summit held on June 2, 2016 at the Oakville Conference Centre. The four award recipients are all technology companies, and they are: Adlib Software (Burlington, ON), Advanced Test & Automation (Milton, ON), Geotab (Oakville, ON), and Enable Education (Milton, ON).

Out of 14 nominees, three of the companies – Adlib Software, Advanced Test & Automation and Geotab were awarded a Halton Innovation Award while the fourth award was granted to an early-stage company, Enable Education, as the “One to Watch” award.
The Halton Innovation Awards recognized the excellence and accomplishments of technology companies – from startups, small and medium-sized companies, to large corporate multinationals – that have developed innovative and commercially successful products or services in Halton region.
The nominees were evaluated based on their innovation, commercial viability, novelty, sustainability or social benefit, and project development & delivery, as provided in their applications.
These awards help to recognize excellence in innovation, raise awareness of positive contributions, encourage collaborative partnerships, and inspire investment.
